Rollers
for Ring Frames & Speed Frames

- Arbor :
Made out of alloy steel with high Chromium and medium Carbon. Heat treatment adapted at the ends to introduce hardness at Bearing seating area. Lubrication hole is provided for greasing purpose.
- Boss :
Made out of medium Carbon steel. Heat treatment adapted for moderate hardness. No scope for breakages. It is detachable form the Arbor.
- Needle Bearings :
Draw Cup needle Bearings used to take care of load factors. Load concentration takes place at wider area and no scope for wear & rear on Arbor at shorter duration.
- Guide Bush :
Made out of Gun Metal and being used as additional bearings to take care of radial loads and axial load factors.
- Thrust Pad :
Made out of alloy steel to take care of thrust load factors.
- Retaining Screw :
Adjustment of the thrust load to a precise manner. Greasing can be done through this screw without dismantling and part.
- Grub Screw :
After adjusting the thrust load by Retaining Screw, the locking provision is made firmly through this screw.
- End Cap :
MADE OUT OF Nylon material to avoid the entry of micro dust and fly.
Assembly Procedure :
- Ensure that bearing seating area of the Arbor is free from dust and fly.
- Insert a Thrust Pad on the Arbor.
- Slide the Boss duly fitted with Needle Bearing and Guide Bushes at either side of the Needle Bearing by applying the Grease.
- Insert another Thrust Pad towards the face of the Guide Bush.
- Use Retaining Screw to retain the Boss on the Arbor with proper axial clearance to ensure that the Boss movement (rotation) is free on teh Arbor.
- Use Grub Screw to lock the Retaining Screw on the Arbor firmly.
- Use End cap to avoid the dust and fly entry.
Note :
- For periodical greasing schedule, by removing the End Cap, greasing can be done through Retaining Screw hole without disturbing any part of the Top Roller.
- While greasing hold the Top Roller at the centre of the Arbor for the grip.
Dismantling Procedure :
- Unscrew the Grub Screw with Alen Key to release the locking effect.
- Unscrew the Retaining Screw totally.Boss can be taken out from the Arbor.
Cot Mounting Procedure :
- Rest the Boss face on the table of the mounting machine.
- By applying the force of the face of the cot by machine Arbor, drive the Cot on the Boss.
Dismantling The Cot :
- Rest the cot face on the table of the mounting machine.
- By applying the force on the face of the cot Boss by machine Arbor, drive the Top Roller.
